Hi, I’m Kaila—the proud owner of Ikonik Aesthetics. I’m a dog mom, devoted partner, car enthusiast, coffee lover, and unapologetic workaholic. My passion lies in building a business that not only keeps my clients coming back but also reflects the dream workplace I’ve always envisioned.

My journey has been fueled by a love for nails, art, and trying new things. Over the years, I’ve worn countless hats to learn what it truly takes to be the boss.

From a young age, I was obsessed with nails—you’d never catch me without them! I’d watch nail techs in awe, soaking in every technique. Like many beginners, my early attempts weren’t perfect, and the teasing I faced pushed me to step back for a while. But setbacks don’t define us, right?

At 19, I moved to New York, driven by a need to gain business knowledge and experience. I was on the right path until COVID slowed the world down. During that time, while living in New Jersey, I met an incredible nail tech (@nailsbygil) who had started her journey in her mom’s living room. Inspired by her story, I joked about doing her nails one day—she (rightfully) said no. But when I mentioned my upcoming move to Florida, she looked at me and said, “Girl, if you don’t move down there and start doing nails…”

That one sentence changed everything.

After a short-lived relationship, I found myself back in my home state of Florida, ready to start over. That’s what your 20s are for, right? I moved to Orlando on February 1, 2022, and by March 14, I was enrolled in nail school. I earned my license on May 7, 2022, wasting no time (only missing one day for a quick trip to Mexico—worth it!). By September 16, 2022, I had officially filed for my LLC.
